Located in Haldibari Rural Municipality-02, Jhapa, Nepal, Parakhopi Small Farmers Tea Cooperative Society Ltd. plays a crucial role in the processing of CTC tea. The cooperative, established in 2064 under the Cooperative Act 2048, is strategically situated on the west bank of the Deunai river, east of Parakhopi Bazar.
With a primary objective of uniting small tea farmers and establishing a tea processing factory, Parakhopi Tea Cooperative is committed to producing high-quality tea. The organization operates under the joint auspices of the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives, Department of Agriculture, Directorate of Crop Protection, National Agriculture Program, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and District Agriculture Office, Jhapa.
In pursuit of its goal to produce quality tea, Sri Parakhopi Sana Kisan Chia Sahakari Sanstha Limited, an integral part of the cooperative, has undergone three years of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) training. Tea farmers associated with the organization actively participated in training facilitated by various authorities, including the 
government, and successfully implemented IPM methods to maintain the quality of green leaves. The cooperative is also conducting various programmes to strengthen the capacity of their member (such as technical training on tea cultivation, cooperative education, and training on financial management).
Aligned with its commitment to quality and sustainability, the cooperative collaborates with Central Tea Cooperative Federation Ltd. The cooperative aims to produce high-quality and pesticide-free CTC tea, with shareholders participating in training and seminars organized by various associations. Notably, the tea processing factory of this cooperative adheres to strict standards, ensuring that only pure CTC tea is produced. It is important to highlight that no chemicals are used in the tea processing, emphasizing the commitment to providing a natural and high-quality product to consumers.
