Deurali Tea Producers Cooperative Society was established in Deumai Municipality-8, Jeetpur, Ilam with the aim of taking a leading role in promoting and integrating tea farming in Deumai Municipality of Ilam. The cooperative was formed to organize tea farmers into groups, support the commercialization of tea farming, facilitate tea processing, and provide necessary training and advanced materials to tea farmers. Additionally, it aims to promote organic tea farming by restricting the use of chemical fertilizers in the region.
The cooperative was formally registered under the name Deurali Tea Producers Cooperative Society at the Division Cooperative Office, Ilam, on 2065/11/29 B.S. (February 11, 2009 A.D.), with an initial membership of 36 farmers. At the time of its establishment, the cooperative did not receive any inspiration or guidance from non-cooperative organizations.
Currently, the cooperative has 62 members including 46 male and 16 female members. By embracing the principles and fundamental values of cooperatives, it primarily encourages its members in tea production, collects and trades green tea leaves, produces and markets necessary fertilizers, and processes tea. It also provides high-quality financial and non-financial services to improve the living standards of its members. The cooperative is affiliated with the District Tea Cooperative Federation (DTCF) and the Central Tea Cooperative Federation.

Mission
The cooperative aims to support its members in producing, processing, and marketing organic green tea leaves at competitive prices. Additionally, it focuses on producing fertilizers, providing savings and credit services, and offering other financial support. The organization is committed to enhancing the skills and capacities of its members to create self-employment opportunities while developing itself into a sustainable, long-term institution.
