Intervention: Goal & objectives
The ultimate objective of the training was to address the knowledge gap and establishing sustainable extension support and training functions within the tea value chain so that farmers improve tea cultivation practice. The specific objectives were as following;
- To build the capacity of lead tea farmers on various aspects on improved tea cultivation practices.
- To identify and develop suitable resource person/tea technicians for further extension support and training to other tea farmers
