Located in the green hills of Phalelung-8, Panchthar, the Seselung Tea Producer Cooperative Society has been a pillar of support for local tea farmers since its establishment on 2064/10/3 B.S. (2008 A.D.). Officially registered under No. 34/064/065, the cooperative was founded with a vision to unite small tea farmers and enhance their livelihoods through collective farming, processing, and marketing.
Operating across Ward No. 7 and 8 of Phalelung Rural Municipality, the cooperative has grown into a strong community of 111 dedicated farmers, including 65 male and 46 female members. Their commitment to sustainable tea production has helped improve the socio-economic conditions of the region, ensuring fair prices and better opportunities for farmers.
By partnering with Central Tea Cooperative Federation (CTCF) Nepal, Seselung gains valuable technical and financial guidance, helping farmers optimize their tea production while improving management efficiency. This support enables members to navigate the challenges of cooperative operations and maintain financial stability.
