Introduction
Chintapu Tea Producers Cooperative Society (Ltd.) was established with the aim of playing a leading role along with providing necessary training and materials in promoting and integrating tea farming by including small tea farmers in Ward No. 12 and 13 (formerly Nangin, Yangnam and Lungrupa VDC) of Phidim Municipality of Panchthar district. The cooperative was established in 2066/07/05. Currently there are 53 share members including 9 females. This cooperative has NPR 115800 paid up capital. This cooperative is providing saving and credit facilities and collective selling of green leaf tea.

Mission
To provide competitive prices to the members , to produce, process and market organic green tea leaves, cash crops, herbs, as well as to provide fertilizer, savings and loans and other financial services, and to create an environment for self-employment by enhancing the skills and capabilities of the members and to develop as a long-term organization.

To promote the economic, social and cultural progress of the organization and its members by complying with the prevailing laws and regulations within the scope of the organization.

- To introduce animal service related training and programs to the members from time to time to support the organic farming system.
- To provide organic fertilizers and organic pesticides required for tea production.
- To produce and process tea and package it.
- To market the produced tea nationally and internationally.
- To encourage members to cultivate tea and support their economic development.
- To establish a Tea Development Fund as a sustainable financial resource.
- To create sustainable financial resources required in the future by involving members of compulsory savings, regular savings and various types of savings institutions.
- To coordinate with other donor agencies and conduct programs.
- To plant tea for organic tea production.
