Charkhol tea producer cooperative society ltd. has been established in 2058-08-21 with the 25 members by registering in the Division Cooperative Office Ilam. By covering the Deumai municipality (formal Mangalbare VDC ward no 3 and 5) this cooperative intend to professionalize tea farmer along with the marketing support, additional direct service support such as technical training, agriculture input supply through integrated tea farming and play leadership role of the tea famer.
This cooperative is mainly carrying out activities, embracing the principles of cooperatives and its basic values and norms to improve the living standards of its members through encouraging tea production, collecting and marketing green tea leaves from tea farmers, producing fertilizers required for tea, and providing financial and non-financial services. This cooperative is affiliated with the District Cooperative Association, Ilam, thematic Tea Producers District Cooperative Association, and the National Cooperative Bank.
This cooperative currently has a total of 89 shareholders, including 59 male and 30 female members. The total paid-up share capital of this cooperative organization is Rs. 673,000,total savings are 1,558,392 and loan investment is 2,577,675. The organization annually produces a total of more than 70 thousand kg of organic green tea leaves and sells and distributes them to the nearest private tea factory.

परिचय
इलाम जिल्लाको देउमाई नगरपालिका (साबिक मंगलबारे गांवि.स.को वडा नं. ३ र ५) लाई आफ्नो कार्यक्षेत्र बनाई उक्त क्षेत्रका चिया किसानहरुलाई समेटी चिया खेतिलाई व्यवसायिकरण गर्दै उत्पादित चिया सामुहिक बजारीकरण र चिया कृषकहरुलाई अतिरिक्त सेवाहरु जस्तै प्राविधिक तालिम, उन्नत कृषि सामाग्री तथा मलखाद उपलव्ध गराई चिया खेतिलाई प्रर्वद्धन एवं एकिकृत गर्न नेतृत्वदायि भूमिका निर्वाह गर्ने उद्देश्यबाट प्रेरित भई मिति २०५८।८।२१ गते देखि २५ जना सदस्यहरु मिलि डिभिजन सहकारी कार्यालय इलाममा विधिवत रुपमा दर्ता भई यस चारखोला चिया उत्पादक सहकारी संस्थाको स्थापना भएको हो । यस सहकारीले सहकारीताको सिद्धान्त तथा त्यसका आधारभुत मूल्य र मान्यताहरुलाई आत्मसाथ गर्दै आफ्ना सदस्यहरुलाई मुख्य रुपमा चिया उत्पादनमा प्रोत्साहन, चिया उत्पादक कृषकहरुबाट हरियो चिया पत्ती संकलन तथा बजारीकरण, चियालाई आवश्यक पर्ने मलखाद उत्पादन लगायत वित्तिय तथा गैह्र वित्तिय सेवा मार्फत सदस्यहरुको जीवनस्तरमा समयानुकुल सुधार ल्याउने कार्यहरु सञ्चालन गरिरहेको छ । यस सहकारी, जिल्ला सहकारी संघ इलाम र बिषयगत चिया उत्पादक जिल्ला सहकारी संघ र राष्ट्रिय सहकारी बैंक मा आवद्धता रहेको छ ।
यस संस्थामा हाल ५९ जना पुरुष र ३० जना महिला सदस्य गरी जम्मा ८९ जना शेयर सदस्यहरु रहेका छन् । यस संस्थाको कुल चुक्ता शेयर पूँजी रु. ६७३,०००।– कुल बचत १,५५८,३९२ तथा ऋण २,५७७,६७५ तरहेको छ । संस्थाले बार्षिक रुपमा कुल ७० हजार के.जी भन्दा बढी अर्गानिक हरियो चिया पत्ती उत्पादन गरि नजिकको निजि चिया कारखानामा विक्रि वितरण गरिरहेको छ ।
